Yesterday a colleague asked me whether I like to go on a ride out with a couple of other co-workers the next day. Our schedule is so tightly packed, but after checking with Nina I nevertheless took the opportunity to get out and have a little relief. Even more so since Rocinante will soon be cleaned and crated.Suffice to say, there will probably be very few opportunities to break away from the stress of work, packing and everything else. We had a lovely little ride out – special thanks to Ralph for organizing this! The weather was great – sunshine and comfortable 27° C. Since it was a work day and we went at 2 pm, the traffic was good most of the time. Only the many tractors out for the harvest were a little in the way.
Here is the route – nice and curvy 150 km to Oberbrechen. The second part was my trip home – the B8 is nice to get back home, but nothing compared to the small back-roads of the first half.
