Emma and I went to see the treaty of Waitangi yesterday. We FINALLY managed to see it….after studying it for one trimester and talking about seeing it for two months.*gg*

It was cool to see Lora again and catch up with her. She said my English got a lot better. =D After that comment I couldn`t think of one correct English sentence anymore but YEAH! I guess I just don`t notice my progress cause it still feels like a struggle to have a conversation in English.
Wellington is such a small city, one of Katrin`s flatmates is a friend of Lora. *shakes head* Since she`s only staying till the middle of november we should try to resurrect our “once a week dinner” thingy….it was fun the two times that we had it, lol. (*wink mit dem Zaunpfahl @ Lina*) Anyway seems that she`s happy. =) Fia would also like to see us again even though she`s working a lot. Life guard in a pool…LOL we should visit her. 😉

And after having hot chocolate at Starbucks with Lora, Emma and I went to Everton hall. Who the hell had the idea of having mid-winter-Christmas? Christmas in July? LOL Reminds me of the children`s book “Was macht der Weihnachtsmann im Juli?”

Seems we discovered his secret… =P
Anyway, it was fun even though I stayed 10 minutes or so. I`m gonna add silly pics when I get them…

Dunedin

I`m not sure what I`m gonna write in here when uni starts again but for now…

I finished the first trimester of uni with my last exam on June 24th and decided to head down to the South Island for holidays. For 4 days to be precisely. Anyway it was sooooo worth it. My camera battery stopped working on the second day *smash head against desk* but you`ll get an impression. On Monday I just had a look at the lovely city, on Tuesday I watched albatrosses (what`s the plural?), penguins and fur seals, on Wednesday I visited NZ`s only castle and went shopping ( -.- ) and on Thursday I visited a chocolate factory, bought lots of chocolate and went by train to the hinterland to have a look at the beautiful landscape around Dunedin. The trip was really, really awesome! And strangely enough, I thought it is colder here (10 degrees) than in Dunedin (-3/-5 degrees but sunshine).

If you want to comment, you`re welcomed to do so. 🙂
